In our last post, we discussed science in AS. Today we conclude the series!

“It’s for the culture” “for the love of the culture” “do it for the culture”. If you’ve heard these phrases or phrases similar to the above, you’d find they’ve most likely been spoken by a young Afro-American individual, or someone having deep relations with young Afro-Americans and/or their culture. While this may seem entirely random or stemming from a single psycho-lingual continuum, it is the furthest thing – it is the lived evidence of our affinity to Culture as the fulcrum of civility!

SO… WHAT IS THE CULTURE?

In AS, Culture is defined as the culmination of consciousness and customs. African languages focus on labelling things by their function and likes to marry things with inextricable duality (aka are linked by their relative function to each other). In that way, if Omniversal Blackness is Spirit, then Consciousness represent the mental equivalent and Customs represent the physical equivalent – thus completing the all conditions for existence (Spiritual, Mental and Physical). The greatest manifestation of this is in the literary triumvarite of Ntu, ubuNtu and isiNtu.

The wisdom, according to our Ancestors, is that the creation manifested out of Blackness was divine, perfect and supreme. In order to ensure continuity of this supremacy, the creation process was fashioned into a codex that can encompass all aspects of creation, including the scientific and mathematical proficiency. This ‘fashioned creation process’ was condensed into what is known today as Culture, named in AS as “Ntu”. This “Ntu” became the codex for all creative expression out of Blackness and was heralded by two principles, namely: ubuNtu (aka consciousness, focusing on thought + thinking) and isiNtu (aka customs, focusing on the physical application and manifestation of thought). Thus, the momentum of creation ensued and Ntu, represented by ubuNtu and isiNtu, became not only the codex for all creation, but the Multiversal code of conduct.

NTU

Ntu is far more than just an ordinary Culture though. To understand it, one must appreciate Africa’s rich heritage in oral traditions and allegory. According to our Ancestors, the story behind Ntu is as follows: As Blackness moulded life out itself, it became apparent there were two modes of existence which complimented Blackness’ own infinity: Consciousness (Awareness and the ability to thinking) and Physical reality (the tangible, material manifestation of existence). Because Blackness is Spirit itself (meaning, it is the core element of everything existing), it had to think of what can be created. Once the creation is thought to completion, it is then fashioned, moulded and created out of the eternal Blackness and by virtue of being created out of Blackness, is automatically imbued with the eternal Spirit of Blackness. This is how Spirit, Mind and Body come together.

The creative process forming Spirit, Mind & Body is the culminated as the initiatory, supreme custom of Life as all infinity is contained within this life-creating process. Thus, this initiatory, supreme custom is considered the first invent of culture in AS, and this invent of culture, or custom, is called Ntu. All “actions” that manifest life, from interstellar down to quantum, are derived from Ntu. More so, all “actions” of human relations – such as commerce, nation building, family planning, environmental protection etc are collective packaged as culture. Culture is defined by how we engage our external reality. Thus, AS, culture is Ntu because: 1) the way we engage our external reality (the collective packaging of commerce, family relation etc) is derived out of the initiatory, supreme culture of Blackness’ creative process; and 2) the customs (actions such as commerce, family planning etc) are underpinned by the Consciousness that emerged out of Blackness, hence the customs are supreme; and 3) There is nothing greater than the Consciousness & Customs that emerged out of Blackness because those Consciousness & Customs are the encapsulation of infinity (aka the highest / greatest expression of everything that could ever be) and; 4) Consciousness (the initiating thought) and Customs (actions manifesting the thought) together are Culture.

MU-NTU

Now that we understand the basis of Culture in AS, let’s see how that lead to its manifestation in people. According to our Ancestors, when a human is fashioned, they follow the same process as the formation of Life out of Blackness. Now, this would mean when a human is fashioned, they are Supreme and endowed with the fullness of Infinity contained in Blackness (biblically speaking, this is what is meant by being created in God’s image) and the Consciousness the human receives is the same Consciousness emerging out of Blackness (biblically speaking, this is God blowing his spirit into the being). Being that the human is Supreme, the Culture they would practice is Ntu as their Consciousness & Customs are attuned to the highest expressions of infinity. Because this human is naturally attuned to Ntu, their “label” (eg: our label is ‘human’) would be mu-ntu (translated to human manifestation of Ntu since they are the manifestation of Spirit, Mind & Body).

In AS, the very essence of our being is Ntu and it embroidered in the fabric of our Spirit, Mind & Body. The concept of Ntu is carried in many African culture: in BaSotho it is called “tsu”, in Vhavenda it’s “Vhu”, in the Luo of East Africa it’s “Lu”, In the Yoruba of West Africa it’s “Ori” and in Ancient Kemet it is “Ntr” (of course there are more, but this is enough). Now, this ties up all the math & science contained in Ntu.

LIFE IS GOD'S (OUR) EXPERIMENT

Blackness essentially created existence out of itself to experience the entirety of its potential – meaning the purpose of Life from the prospective of Blackness experiencing manifest its own infinity. Every being existing is manifested to experience all of infinity – meaning the purpose of Life from the prospective of a being is to experience the infinite Grace of Blackness. The mathematics and science are encoded in the very fabric of Ntu. Life itself is a science experiment with the sole purpose of Blackness to fully experiencing itself. Mathematics is the background vacuum formulated out of Blackness allowing for all the potential experiments to exist. Mathematics represents Consciousness (ubuNtu) in that it is the silent language of universal intention; Science represents Customs (isiNtu) in that it is the expression and manifestation of that intention, forever providing physical experimentation for real-life hypotheses, observations and outcomes to occur through experiences. Ntu expresses Maths and Science through Culture to fully manifest the infinity of Blackness. We exist to infinitely express Blackness, and simultaneously experience the grace of Blackness’ infinity! Peace be upon you all, infinitely throughout infinity!
