SS: Before we getting into the heart of it… Who is Ndia Magadagela, what does she like? Please give us a synopsis of your story!

NM: 00:25

SS: You left a comfortable 9-5 job as M&A principal MMI to jump into entrepreneurship. What made you take this journey?

NM: 05:25

SS: Based on Blackslope operational model, you partner with many corporates. Is Corporate South Africa’s deploying significant funds into innovation, or are they still playing it safe? And is South Africa innovating enough to be globally competitive against emerging markets?

NM: 07:48

SS: Speaking of innovation, please tell us more Everlectric and the business model?

NM: 17:40

SS: Barring lithium mining, what opportunities exist in Africa for one to participate in the global EV value chain? Is the continent too late to join the party?

NM: 19:33

SS: With RSA’s turbulent power situation, an OEM sector focused on fuel-driven vehicles and a consumer market with a “vrrrpah” culture, what needs to change for EV to be viable at scale in RSA? Will high oil prices eventually pull demand in that direction?

NM: 22:45

SS: RSA automotive industry 2035 masterplan is vague on the role EV are to play in RSA economy. Do you see your partnership with Woolworths as case study the government can use to assess the economic benefits that may emerge of a robust EV industry?

NM: 29:02

SS: Speaking of the automotive industry, government is driving significant transformation across the board. As a Black Woman CEO of an EV company, how would you use your success and influence to drive transformation in seeing (particularly black) women ascending to senior executive roles within the industry?

NM: 37:03

SS: Mrs Magadagela, thank you for your time. What’s one thing you’d like to wish our readers?

NM: 39: 28
